Some new products
Here are some snapshots of new items that are coming out from our workshop. The three pieces are:
3/4 Floral Henley Shirt using matte/semi translucent cream buttons. The fabric is a very light silk-screened broadcloth with contrasts on placket and trims. Garment is enzyme and silicone washed for a soft and worn out feel. This is retailing at 139SGD.
Next is the Raglan Short-Sleeve Cardigan which uses an interlock jersey (155 GSM in weight) combining construction detailing around the shoulders to create a more natural draping sleeve and a more solid structured body. Garment is washed with fabric softener for smoother hand feel. Check the detailing on the back. This is a pretty interesting sewing detail that uses self binding. Great on footwear and accessories such as bags as well. This is retailing at 119SGD.
Worship Shirt Act: III is also being re-released. This garment features stretch poplin with subtle patch construction along the front panel. This is retailing for 109SGD.

Of Forest, Sea and Mountain
The two people responsible for the photography in the sifr lookbook and the K.I.N zine are having a gallery exhibition soon. Some information below.
Of Forest, Sea and Mountain
by Ang Song Nian, Dju-lian Chng and Jovian Lim
Evoking a sense of an unusual mix of romanticism and avant-garde, it is the personal self-interpretation of landscapes and a reflection of the emerging innovations of photography. This exhibition will challenge the very archetypal notions of landscape and introduce a fresh visual introspective of their personal constructed landscapes deliberately imbibed with intended meanings about life, technology and space.
Dju-lian re-explores the existing lens-subject relationships, metamorphosing images of the real into something digitally obscure while highlighting technological prowess and its ability to shrink worldly boundaries. Jovian’s works draws upon and challenges the classic mythological ‘heroic journey’ by illustrating abstract parallels to the realities experienced in our daily lives. If you liked the song Deep Sea Diver by Grizzly Bear that we posted a few weeks ago you'll like Department of Eagles. This is Daniel Rossen's (songwriter, guitarist and vocalist for Grizzly Bear) and friend/roommate Fred Nicolaus's side project.

We Are Expanding Our Reach
Our good friends from Soon Lee just recently opened up a new store called Rockstar, which is conveniently located at the Orchard Cineleisure shopping mall. We're glad to have both our sifr and essentials line stocked at such a well curated space. They've been a close observer of how sifr has progressed over the last year or so now; as we have been a close observer of how their retail venture came into materialization. After a culmination of mutual support it's a pleasure to finally get the chance to work together.
Some preview shots.

A Glimpse at the Store Before the Renovation
The store is about 1/3 through the renovation, we can expect to be open and fully operational by sometime during the second week in November. It's been a great 2 1/2 years and we'd like to say thank you to everyone that has shown us some support.

Look at the determination on his face.
There's been rumors circulating that he's moving to DJISL.
