Untitled No.8 / Streetwear Today magazine

The 8th installment of the “untitled” book series that is accompanying the “untitled” No. 8 exhibition - like the latter - has ‘infinity’ as its main theme.

And with this books release, Magseven is proud to present to you another heavy collection of pure beauty; a genuine print nugget that could be easily classified as an art exhibition on its own.

In terms of styles, a broad variety is showcased, as each exhibition focuses on a specific theme and presents collective works from diverse artists, always with special attention to new motifs and unique display techniques.

Let’s take a look inside:

First, La Grande Dame of hiphop documentary, Martha Cooper, delivers you some of her unreleased photographic "good stuff". Then we have fresh design blueprints by Element artists Andrew Pommier, Don Pendleton, Jeremy Fish, Matt Irving, National Forest, Paul Urich, Randy Laybourne, The Mountain and Todd Francis.

Subsequently, you’ll be able get an insight into Selim Varol´s (Toy Giants) passion, fascination and deep obsession with toys.

Another definite highlight is the documentation of the theme-based canvas interpretation. Eight different artists were asked to create a canvas around the ’infinity’ theme. These incredible pieces by CemOne, Zedz, Florian Boehm, Ryan Monihan and four others are also presented in this book.

And to broaden your horizon even more, Romero Timm Steinhauser delivers his academic take on sneakers.

But that’s not all. So grab your copy and do your peek-a-boo, now.

Untitled No.8 is available now at know it nothing

More on Pointer

Check out what the people behind Hypebeast had to say about pointer right here.

Highsnobiety had good things to say in their feature right here.

Pointer Footwear

Remember when we said we had some surprises up our sleeves. We also mentioned something about more options for the long haul or something along those lines. Well here it is...

We're proud to announce that Pointer Footwear will make it's way in store. They are without a doubt one of the better footwear brands out there breaking necks and making good stuff that will stand the test of time. We guarantee it.

Outside of Japan, Singapore will be the only other country in Asia to stock Pointer Footwear. Our store is alongside the likes of Slam Jam in Italy, Size? in the UK, American Rag Cie in Japan and the US, The Reed Space in Japan and the US, United Arrows and other fine stores to host Pointer Footwear.

Here's what they have to say about what they're doing:

Established in 2004, Pointer was created with the aim of making simple, well-designed casual shoes in response to a market then saturated with increasingly technical trainers and hyped-up limited edition sneakers. Pointer employs people it likes, from artists to interns; based in London, the company is backed by a creative stable of friends and co-conspirators, inspired and informed by everything from art and music to skateboarding and breakfast.

These will be in next week and we'll be throwing on some fit photos on here so check back.

Another year, Another yearn.

We're glad 07 is over. The start of a brand new business is always tough but we handled it okay. Thanks to all of our customers for their support be it money or good word. You people make coming to work like we're not really going to work.

We're looking forward to 08 to showcase some new labels in store. We're looking to bring in more of the good stuff from the major brands out there that we are real proud to work with. Trust us when we say that we're looking to give you all options that you can work with for the long-run.

In the meantime, check this clip from one of the better brands that are represented in Singapore:

That video is the reason why we really give a shit about WoodWood in store. They have created a solid following down here in Singapore and we'll be showing you guys some more of their designs next season. Simple and structured pieces followed by the random quirky oddities always keep people in check while stalking us for more.

If that video wasn't enough, check this funny ass inspiring interview on right here.
